It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved brother, friend, nephew, and son, Paul. Born on February 20, 1981, to Josephine (Josie) Pruski Carter and Ronald Carter, Paul was a loving Big Brother to his sister, Tracy, married to Nicholas.
Paul attended Woodstone Elementary, John Wood Middle School, and James Madison High School. Family was the cornerstone of his life. He cherished visits to Grandma in the country and spending time with his loved ones. Thanksgiving was particularly special to him, as it brought the family together to watch football and enjoy each other’s company. Paul was often the last to leave, and it was during these gatherings that his passion for cooking began, as he loved creating dishes reminiscent of Thanksgiving.
A devoted Dallas Cowboys fan, Paul’s love for football and the Cowboys connected him with others. He had a big heart and would take pleasure in watching games with family and friends, grilling, and sharing food with everyone who could join on Sunday afternoons.
Paul also found great peace in gardening, nurturing his plants with care and patience. His garden was a serene place where he could express himself, and it was a source of pride that he often shared with those around him.
Though Paul will be dearly missed, we hold onto the fun times, great memories, and laughter we shared with him.
He is preceded in death by his loving mother, Josephine (Josie) Pruski Carter; grandparents; uncles; aunts; and cousins. Paul is survived by his father, Ron (Maggie); Sister, Tracy Medina, (Nicholas); and numerous family and friends.
