Paul Christopher Cser

He is survived by his loving wife, Svetlana; daughter, Courtney Cser; parents, Arthur and Estella Cser; sisters, Louise Lowak and husband Michael; Martha Jones and husband Casey; nephews and nieces, Anne and Brian Lowak and Jack and Kirby Granger; mother-in-law, Galina Detistova; sister-in-law, Margarita and husband Ludvig Zemrau; nephews and niece, Ludvig Jr, Elizabeth and Alex Zemrau, and many other loving family and friends. Paul was proceeded in death by his Grandparents.

Paul grew up in Laredo and upon graduation joined the 25th Army Division and served three years in the United States Army. He returned to San Antonio and earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business from the University of Texas at San Antonio. He then moved to Austin and had a successful business career but decided he wanted more, enlisting and serving in the Army National Guard for four years and went back to school and earned an Associate’s degree in Nursing. Paul loved being a nurse. He was always willing to help others and never put himself first. He spent many years at several hospitals in the Austin area and continued to grow, using both his business and nursing background leading him to an Executive Director position at AccentCare.

Paul loved to travel, fish and he enjoyed cooking meals for his family and friends. He spent many hours on the water with his brother-in-law which brought him great peace and happiness. He loved watching all manner of sports and listening to country music. He also loved spending time in his yard keeping up with the garden and numerous house plants. There are no words to show, say, or express how deeply missed and loved Paul is.

We are immensely thankful for the outpouring of love and support for our family.

Plants are appreciated in lieu of flowers.
