

Paul served in World War II in the Pacific corridor. He joined the Navy at the tender age of 17 years old. Paul served in the Pacific along the Philippines, Manila Corregidor Islands, and Mindanao and along the Hawaiian Islands right after they dropped the atomic bomb!! Some exposure there, too.
After war he came back with an Honorably Discharged from the Navy and finished his Senior Year.
Upon his return from war, Paul got a job with the New York Central Railroad as a Brakeman and other jobs; some of his jobs took him to Canada and Montreal, etc. He also became a Postman, delivering U.S. mail in Utica, NY.
After that Paul wanted to do something else, so he changed careers. Paul got a civil service job at Griffis AFB in NY. He then applied for a job here at Kelly AFB and from Kelly AFB he received a promotion to Wright Patterson AFB, Ohio.
Paul received many awards and saved a lot of money for the government through the Suggestion Program. He was always looking ahead, working on how he could perform in an exemplarily manner to improve any tasks that crossed his desk. Many challenges came before him.
As a Log Air Specialist, he faced many challenges. He studied a lot, worked very hard to get his Air Command and Staff Degree from Maxwell AFB, AL. Paul was a Logistics Management Specialist, Manager.
He retired from Civil Service in 1988 and moved to San Antonio with his wife, Maria in 2001.
Paul was married to his wife, Maria for 36 years and has two grown children, Barbara and Keith; a brother, Robert J. Kenyon and wife, Nancy and two grandsons.
The family would like to thank Dr. C. Scott Horn M.D., Dr. Rohit Kapoor M.D. and their staffs; Dr. Rosa Vizcarra M.D. and the staff of Emeritus at Lincoln Heights and Odyssey Hospice for their loving care in support for Paul.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 4, 2013 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Porter Loring on McCullough Ave.
