Paula was a kind, loving, and genuine person, who saw the good in everyone. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her many nieces and nephews. Swimming, walking and riding her bike were her favorite pastimes.
Paula is survived by her loving sisters, Nancy Divine Soza and Gail Divine Seipp (Kevin); and her numerous Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces and Great Nephews, whom she adored as if they were her own. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Divine, mother, Margueriete Divine; Sister, Karen Sue Divine and Brothers, Michael Bruce Divine, Dennis Hugh Divine, and Craig Steven Divine.
Paula’s visitation will be celebrated on Thursday, October 8th from 6 – 8 PM at Sunset Funeral Home located at 1701 Austin Hwy, followed by a Rosary at 8 PM. Paula’s internment will be held on Friday, October 9th at 9 AM at Sunset Funeral Home followed by a catered reception at 9:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Paula’s name to a charity of your choice. A few organizations that were particularly close to Paula’s heart and cherished by her family include the Humane Society, the American Cancer Society, the American Diabetes Association, and the Alzheimer’s Association.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Paula’s caregivers, who became friends, at Serenity Oaks and Concho Hearts Hospice for making her final years filled with kindness, friendship, and cherished memories. Doris and Kitty, your unwavering friendship and support, were a gift to Paula and a great comfort to her family. You were her treasured companions, and your presence in her life meant more than words can express.
