She was born in Cleveland, Ohio on November 26, 1916, to Frank and Pauline Mahurin. She met her future husband, Winston Walton Greene, Sr., in Mineral Wells, Texas and married there on September 10, 1942.
She was a devoted member of Windcrest Methodist Church and loved her Sunday School class.
She is predeceased by her husband; son, Russell; sisters, Martha Jane Dahlberg and Gertrude Pinky Gilbert.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Winston and Tammy Greene of Houston, TX; grandchildren, Michael Greene, Jon and Seela Greene of Austin, TX, Amy Greene of Dallas, TX, and Jennifer Greene of Los Angeles, CA; by her favorite niece and her family, Larry and Conner Jane Gilbert Loomis; grandnieces, Jessica and Korinne Loomis of Nova Scotia, Canada.
The family wishes to express their gratitude to the loving caretakers at Golden Casa for their special care of Paula in her last years.
