Paula J. Hambidge

She is survived by brother Jimmy, sons Michael and Robert, daughter Vanessa and grandchildren Colin and Ethan. She was preceded in death by her parents Guy and Dorothy Eakins, brother Larry, and sister and best friend Linda.

Paula graduated from Pharr-San Juan-Alamo High School, and attended Pan American University. With her family, she lived in England, California, Texas, France, Maine and Singapore, where she developed a passion for antiques. Upon returning to Houston, she established an antiques business before recently retiring to San Antonio.

Paula was a devoted mother, an avid gardener and a true animal lover. She adopted and loved countless cats, dogs and horses and is survived by her cats Mama, Weenie and Fonzy.
