I trust that the Cabello Family has felt the impact of my prayers in this time of sorrow. We all look forward to the time when we will be reunited with our loved ones in the presence of the Lord.

Dear Tia & Cousins, 
I want to extend my deepest & sincerest condolences during this very, very difficult time. Tio Pete meant so very much to our entire family, he will be greatly missed. 
We all have very special memories of him, one of mine is when we were all still kids & your family came to California to visit ours. I remember Tio & my Dad reminiscing , & laughing till they cried. 
Lovingly teasing each other. 
Tio was a very special man, that loved the Lord & lead by example. I loved him very much & he will always be in my heart. 
I ask the Lord to take you all in his arms & give you the strength you'll need

How thankful we are that Tio Pete always had a special place in his heart for us; it was never "my niece and her husband", just Jesse and Linda. When he hugged us we felt very much a part of his family. His home was always our home when we were in town. Being parents and grandparents ourselves, we can appreciate how important his family was to him. His topic of conversation was always his boys and his grandkids. We also loved his recollections of growing up with his brother Fred! Oh, how we'll miss his stories along with his heartfelt laughter. Tia and boys, be thankful for the legacy he has left you, that of love and kindness which is the fruit of the Spirit. With deep respect and much love,

I extend my sincerest condolences during your time of sorrow. 
Tio Pete meant so much to me. During the time of my mother's illness, Tio would call frequently to check on all of us, especially my dad. When the unfortunate day approached of my mother's passing, Tio was right back on the phone checking on all of us. The evening of my mom's burial he called once again checking on us, and I had the pleasure of speaking with Tio that evening and the warmth of his love just beamed through our conversation and he brought a smile to my face during one of the most depressing times of my life. 
I just wanted to let everyone know what a special man my Tio was, not only to me, but the rest of my family. I thank God for the times I spent with Tio, and will forever cherish the words of spiritual wisdom he shared with me during our conversations. May the Lord continue to bless all of you.

Manito Pete, I am already missing you a lot ! I just want to remember you of the times when we would come to visit you and Connie, and the good times we had reminiscing. Our plans were to give you a surprise visit for your 78th birthday. But just before we were coming to visit you, we decided to grab a little breakfast at "Mi Tierra Cafe." And "LO & BEHOLD" there you all were, as though you were all waiting for us. What a pleasant surprise! Afterwards we then followed through with our supposedly surprise birthday visit! But I will never forget the "last" time I saw you on your 78th birthday, as you stood at the door of your home office waving 'bye' to us Me, Raul, Velia & Beatriz as we left back to Corpus. Somehow this stayed in my mind but especially in my heart. I know we will meet again very, very soon! You will always be in my heart..........I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!!! Your Sis......Ofe

I praise God for allowing us to know and be friends with such a wonderful man. Bro. Cabello loved the Lord. He was an inspiration to us all. His love for his wife and family was something to admire. He was a rock to his family. We pray that the Lord give strength to the family.

I did not know Mr Cabello personally, but iI am proud to have met his offspring. The Cabello family are a very rich example of a Great American Family. I have met several Cabello's in the last fifteen years and am honored to know each and everyone that I have met. Mr Pedro Cabello I never met you but I feel as though I have always known you. Your family has been a shining example for me in raising my daughter 
I am grateful to you and grieve with your family. May God bless you and receive you into his family.
