Pedro Pete Herrada, Jr.

When Pedro was in high school he was a brilliant musician in all Keyboards, Woodwinds, Brass, and Vocals and led the Hershey High School band as Drum Major. He was also awarded the John Philips Sousa Award. In addition to his love of music, Pete enjoyed being a member of the Drama Club.

Pete graduated Hershey High School in 1975 and was offered a scholarship from the University of Nebraska in music but decided to go to work for the Union Pacific Railroad. In the early 1980's Pete moved to San Antonio Texas. At the time of his passing he had worked for Humana for over 30 years. Pete always had his cars impeccably clean and was known for how he maintained his 98' Z71 Chevy pickup. He also was an avid movie-lover which was apparent in his extensive movie collection.

He was preceded in death by, his parents, Pedro Herrada Sr. and Anita Fagan; his siblings Roland, Simon and Carmen; his step-mother Juanita Herrada and his step-father Bob Fagan. Pedro "Pete" Herrada Jr. was survived by his Partner Thomas Allan Milam; his brother James Herrada (Shannon); his sister Stella Larreau (Brent); numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
