Pedro A. Muniz

Pedro A. Muniz, born on February 28, 1928 to Mauro and Juanita Muniz, was called to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Friday, May 26, 2017. Pedro is preceded in death by his parents, Mauro and Juanita Muniz; brother, Jesus Muniz; brother Adan Muniz; brother Elias Muniz; sister, Teresa Rojas; sister, Ofelia Hinojosa; brother, Gerardo Muniz; sister, Ygnacia Villa; brother, Bene Muniz; sister, Juanita Cavazos; brother, Emeterio Muniz; sister, Enriqueta Caverra; brother, Raul Muniz; daughter, Mary Muniz; and son, Pedro Muniz Jr. He will be forever loved and his memory cherished by his surviving family; beloved wife, Isabel Muniz; daughter, Mabel Aguilar; daughter-in-law, Mary E. Muniz; son, Adam Muniz (Melba); son, Ruperto Muniz; daughter, Isabel Gomez (David); Leticia Garcia (Ovidio); numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and 1 great great-grandchild; and sister, Ester Mata Muniz.

Pedro had many loves in his life. His first love was his wife Isabel of 63 years. He also loved his family and especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He also had a passion for dancing, listening to music, watching Western movies, and mariachis. He was also known for practical jokes. He worked in the vehicle industry for many years and had a passion for cars, especially Cadillacs. He was a rancher and loved the outdoors and both working on his land and working with his animals. A Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino, 2525 Palo Alto Rd., San Antonio, TX, 78211 on Tuedsay, June 6, 2017, from 6:00 p.m. to 9 p.m., with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. On Wednesday, June 7, 2017, final respects will be from 8:15 a.m. to 9 a.m., at St. Benedict Catholic Church, 4535 Lord Rd, San Antonio, TX 78220, with a Mass to follow. Interment will follow at 10:45 a.m. at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach, San Antonio, TX, 78209.
