She graduated from Jefferson High School in San Antonio and was an alumnus of the University of Texas in Austin. For several years, Peggy was a top model at Frost Brothers and Joske's in San Antonio. She was a singer and entertainer with the USO in San Antonio during WWII.
In the 1950's-1960's, she acted in Hollywood and also performed as a nightclub singer in New York City. Her various talents lead her to be involved with the San Antonio Little Theater where she starred in various roles.
She is survived by her daughter, Sadi Sparks of Austin, TX; granddaughter, Rochelle Perron of Austin, TX; grandson, Miles Perron of Canyon Lake, TX; great grandchildren: Ellen Perron, Ann Margaret "Maggie" Perron, and Bella Perron; two nephews and her devoted, life-long friend, Lula B. Hatch of San Antonio, TX.
