

She was pre-deceased by her mother and father, Dorothy and Newton Jackson and her son Michael Richard White.
Peggy is survived by her two daughters, Kathleen Williams of Houston, Texas and Deborah Williams Furlow of Vacaville, California; and Charles Watson, her high school sweetheart who re-entered her life in 1978; grandson, Tatum Uetz White; sister, Dorothy Van Cleave, a long time resident of San Antonio; and nephew, Robert Van Cleave.
Peggy was born in San Antonio on March 12, 1931. She attended Alamo Heights High School where she was Drum Majorette and an honor student, graduating in 1948. She attended the University of Texas in Austin until marrying Robert Allen Williams, a West Point graduate from Arkansas. Bob served as an Air Force Jet pilot and was killed in the Korean Conflict.
Peggy had a 25 year career working at Fort Sam Houston. Peggy was artistic, creative, talented and had a passion for shopping and finding great bargains.
Peggy's motto was "it's better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it". Memorial services will be private.
Peggy supported a host of charities, with her favorite being the Battered Women's shelter.
