He was born on January 2, 1935 at the old downtown Memorial Hospital in Houston, TX.
Perry was a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason, a York Rite Knight Templar, and a member of the Alzafar Shrine Temple. He was also a member of the Royal Order of Jesters, always enjoying phun & phrolicking.
He was commissioned as a Kentucky Colonel by Kentucky Gov. Martha Lane Collins in 1984.
Perry was preceded in death by June, his best buddy and soul mate of nearly 48 years; and sons, Perry T. Bean Jr., Tommy, and Joe Brent Bean.
He is survived by sons, Rhett L. Bean and wife Deborah, Scott N. Bean and wife Becky; grandchildren, Amber, Nicole and Paris. He is also survived by 5 other grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
