

Pete was born and raised in San Antonio, TX and went to John Jay High School. He had a great appreciation for music and loved Elvis, K.C. and the Sunshine Band, KISS, AC/DC and most of all Saxon!
He was a visionary and entrepreneur. He began with a tint and alarm business, The Waxx Shack and a tattoo parlor, Black Jack Studio. Together with his soulmate and mother of his minor children he cofounded a construction company, Basic Essentials Maintenance, Inc., Nikita Productions, Inc. who produced River City Bike Fest, Slinging Ink Tattoo Expo, Voodoo Tattoo Expo, Siesta Fest, Salsa Fest, South Texas Rock Fest, and numerous rock concerts at venues like Sunken Gardens, Hemisfair Park, La Villita to name a few. They later cofounded live music venue Backstage Live and most recently 210 Kapones. Pete was a kind hearted, compassionate person who would give the shirt off his back if you needed it. His children were always his priority, he absolutely adored them and they adored him. He was and always will be their hero.
Pete was preceded in death by his grandparents, Pedro Gonzales, Sr. and Susie L. Gonzales, and Louis G. Gomez, and Esperanza M. Gomez.
He is survived by his parents, Pedro and Barbara Gonzales; his adult daughter, Vestiny Gonzales; his minor children, son, Peter Gonzales, and his twin daughters, Sophia and Nina Gonzales; mother of his minor children, Sylvia Fernandez; his sisters, Linda Portell, and Felisha Gonzales; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and many other family members as well as business associates, and friends.
Visitation will take begin at 5:00p.m. on Monday, March 23, 2015, at Porter Loring Mortuary.
