Fueron pocos los momentos que estuve con Pedro pero tengo bonitos recuerdos de él, en especial cuando compartía con mi hija Camelia y siempre tenía una gran sonrisa en su rostro.  Se divertía mucho con mi pequeñita.    Un gran ser humano, esposo, padre, vecino...   Un honor conocerlo. 
Dios lo tenga en su Gloria! 

Mis más sentidas condolencias para mi amiga querida Rubby, Toño y su otro hijo que no conozco pero estoy segura que debe ser una gran persona al igual que toda la familia.

Querida Rubby,
Recuerdo  de muy pequeña todos los momentos que pasamos juntos, especialmente cuando veníais a ver mi abuelo Pascual y mi abuela Vicenta. Lo mucho que ellos os querían, y que siempre hablaban de Pedro y de ti con gran amor. Un amor que compartimos con toda la familia. Ya que tanto Pedro como tú os hacéis mucho de querer, sois para nosotros uno más de la familia.
Me da mucha tristeza no poder estar más cerca tuyo para poder acompañarte en estos momentos tan difíciles.
Sé que Pedro estará bien, allí en el cielo, y que seguro que mi abuelo y mi abuela estarán a su lado acompañándolo.
Siempre estará en mi corazón y en el de todos los que lo conocieron, ha sido un ejemplo de persona en todos los aspectos.

Grear times we spend together talking about life and world issues, but at the end he summarized everything with just one statement: "El todo vale menos y el resto no vale nada". And he was so right! I'll miss him forever!

Disfrutabas aprendiendo de todo, todo te interesaba , eras como un niño que siempre quiere saber más y más .

It saddens me to hear the news of his passing.  Such a great family man. His wife & kids were his world!  The angels have taken him to his other family members and to our heavenly Father. Pedro and Rubby were a fantastic support to us when we moved to Texas in 2002.  Our girls were little and they watched the girls for us while we house hunted and got acclimated to Austin.  We have very happy memories of time spent together then and over the years.  We will miss Pedro’s kind spirit, his intellect and his humor.   Big hugs to Rubby as she navigates life without him.

Life isn't always a walk in the park, but a walk in the park with my father was always a nice change of pace.

“El todo no vale nade, si el resto vale menos”. In a moment of clarity, these were his last words of wisdom he shared with me and the ones he asked me to tattoo closest to my heart so that I would never forget.

A man of great wisdom and profound words who was my guiding light at pivotal moments in my life. As early as I can remember, my uncle was the only father I ever had.  We never lived in the same country and didn’t see each other often, but his presence was the most precious thing to me. Why? Because in my world, things were hard and dark, and he gave me hope and showed me how my life could become through discipline and hard work. He was my light.  Someone I looked forward to seeing along with my aunt Rubby.  They were the only family members that never judged me or blamed me for my mother’s circumstances.  I was always accepted for who I was and was allowed to share my thoughts, dreams and feelings. I was encouraged, I was nurtured, I was taught how to always ask questions, investigate, not settle and stand up for what I believed in. He made me feel like I mattered.

To me, he was my uncle, the one that disciplined me as a child, listened to me as a rebellious teenager, introduced me to sushi as a 5 year old, showed me how to catch a wave in Hawaii, showed me how to be sophisticated and eat oysters at age 14, made me want to look into microscopes for a living, which ultimately saved me life. Walked me down the aisle as a young adult, became the Godfather to my youngest daughter Emma, the one who told me I was special, believed in me, made me believe in myself and inspired me to always move forward with integrity.  But to the world, he was Colonel Peter Angritt.  A leader, a friend, a mentor, a father, a son, a brother, and most importantly a husband to his beloved wife “petit”.  How he loved her.
You may say, he was just an uncle, but to me he was my world.

I remember when uncle Peter welcomed me and my brother to Hawaii where he was in charge of the pink palace, Army hospital. He made us take the stairs to his office on the top floor. He was a great man.
