Peter Herb was born in Houston, Texas to Erwin Herb and Erika Herb on December 18th, 1967. He attended Blanche Ely High School in Pompano Beach, Florida. He married Joan Pulliam on August 22nd, 1989, in San Antonio, Texas. He worked as a Working Foreman and Fleet Driver for ExxonMobil for 26 years. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Overseas Service Ribbon, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon and received a Letter of Commendation from COMSUBGRU Nine.
Peter is preceded in death by Erwin Herb and Erika Herb.
Peter is survived by his spouse: Joan Herb, daughters: Brittany and Sara Herb, and granddaughter: Jaden Herb.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 17th from 6-9 pm with Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel at 1701 Austin Hwy; San Antonio, TX 78218.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 AM on Tuesday, August 18th, 2026, at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with the Deacon Timothy Tate, Sr. of St. Thomas More Catholic Church, officiating. Burial will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. Arrangements are by Sunset Funeral Home.
