

He was born on April 4, 1945 in Indianapolis, Indiana. He attended Howe Military Academy and graduated in 1972 with his B.A. in Accounting from Adrian College where he also served as president of the local chapter of Pi Kappa Alpha.
He served his country in Vietnam as a member of the United States Air Force.
In 1972, he married Patti (Shackelford) Larsen, and together they had daughter, Kelli. Peter later married Connie (Schmidt Wesch) Larsen.
His positive attitude carried him through an eleven-year battle with heart disease and a successful heart transplant on September 11, 2012. Just one year later, he completed the Rock 'n Roll San Antonio Half Marathon.
He was an inspiration to everyone who knew him.
Peter was preceded in death by his parents, Katharine (Fulton) Larsen and Peter Norman Larsen, and by sister Linda (Larsen) Wilde.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Connie; daughter Kelli (Larsen) Epp (Ryan) and grandson Reece Larsen Epp; son Lance Wesch (Kelly) and grandsons Christopher Wesch and Matthew Muckleroy, all of San Antonio; brother Neal Larsen (Rita) of Elm Grove, Wisconsin; brother-in-law Russell Wilde of Englewood, Colorado; sister-in-law Mary Ann Morris of New Braunfels, Texas; brother-in-law Larry Schmidt of Arlington, Texas; special golf buddy Mickey Day; and by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends, whom he dearly loved. Peter loved the Lord, his family and friends, golf and the San Antonio Spurs.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Roberta Bogaev, Dr. Michael Kwan, Dr. Chandra Kunavarapu and the staff of the Texas Transplant Institute for their care and dedication.
