Petrita Wong Rocha

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Petrita Wong Rocha on January 26, 2025. Born on June 3, 1961, Petrita was a devoted homemaker and loving babysitter who found joy in the simple and beautiful moments of life.

She cherished time spent with family, filling every gathering with laughter and warmth. Though she was camera shy, she treasured every photo, memory, and gift she received. Petrita loved watching television whether it was the news, her favorite shows, or celebrity gossip. She had a deep appreciation for nature, finding peace in birdwatching, tending to her garden in every season, and admiring animals that passed through the neighborhood. Long walks brought her the greatest joy, where she could embrace the beauty of the world around her.

Her favorite colors are black, pink, and lilac reflected her vibrant yet elegant spirit. She also had a special fondness for collecting rocks and plushies, small tokens that brought her happiness.

Petrita is preceded in death by her beloved brother, Raul Wong, and the father of her children, Jose Luis Medina Rocha. She leaves behind a loving legacy in her children, Mayra Rocha (Mark) and German Rocha (Emily); her cherished grandson and two beautiful granddaughters; and a host of extended family and dear friends.

Petrita's unconditional love, kindness, laughter, and beautiful smile will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
