Philip was born in Plymouth County, Massachusetts on July 17, 1942. He graduated from the University of Connecticut College of Pharmacy in July 1965 and was registered in Massachusetts and Texas until he retired in 2010.
Philip served in the U.S. Army beginning in December 1965 and was released from active duty in January 1971. His service included a tour of duty in Vietnam, where he served as a Company Commander and Army Captain and was awarded the Bronze Star. Philip was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) and a life member of the NFA.
He practiced Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacist in Texas for almost 50 years.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Coronado; children, Jonathan, Brandon, and Chelsea; and brothers, Mark , Kevin, and Greg Gallagher. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, David.
