Major Philip B. Francis USAF Retired, age 71, passed away on September 15, 2004, after a lengthy, courageously fought illness. Philip was born in Waco, Texas, the son of George "Red" and Emma Anne Francis. He was a career officer in the United States Air Force and a Vietnam veteran. He is survived by daughters, Peggi, Marianne, and Lynn; son, Philip B. Francis II; sister, Georgia Hepler; brother-in-law, Bert Hepler; uncle, Hiram Friedsam; a niece and three nephews; and longtime companion, Maria Gonzalez. Memorial services are pending.
