Phillip Warren West

Phillip Warren West was born May 22 of 1931, in Lohn Texas and passed away December 6, 2023, at the age of 92. He was the only son to parents Lloyd and Blake (Draper) West. Phil, as most people knew him by, grew up in a small farming community and when he was a young man joined the United States Air Force as part of the original Strategic Air Command. He became a flight line instrument technician in the time he served, which was from 1951 to 1955. After he left the service, he spent most of his career as a insurance adjuster and later went on to have his own independent company for a time before retiring from adjusting. In 1984 he met and married his wife Glenda, and she joined him in all the adventures of his life from travel to running the business to all the creative ideas he would come up with. Glenda stood by his side throughout his life unwavering. Phil is survived today by his loving wife Glenda, his son Gavin West, his daughter Kit-ti West and his two grandsons Xavier and Michael Perales, as well as numerous nieces and nephews and loving friends.
