She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband of 42 years, Wiley Edward Ellington, her brothers, Arthur Jr. and Robert Buchert, and her sister, Beatrice Russell. She is survived by her daughter, Sherry Ellington, her son, Tracy Ellington and his wife, Pamela, her sister, June Trimmell and numerous nieces and nephews.
Phyllis was a loving wife, mother and registered nurse, who dedicated her life to others. She was a gentle, loving soul who now rests in the arms of our Lord.
The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 from 11 am to 12 noon at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral service will follow at 12 noon. The internment will be at Sunset Memorial Park.
