She was a hard worker at 17 years of age and retired at 85 years old. She loved sewing, quilting and was a very good cook and made tortillas. Pilar looked forward to attending church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Manuel P. Garcia; son, Manuel Garcia, Jr. and her sister Juanita Sandoval.
Pilar is survived by her sons, Ignacio Garcia, Jesse Garcia, David Garcia and wife Maria Garcia and Robert Garcia; her daughters, Emma Gonzales and husband Jose Luis Gonzales and Ester M. Garcia; grandson she raised, Michael Sandoval; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Monday, April 23, 2018 at 4:30 pm at Porter Loring on McCullough.
