Priscilla Espinoza Marquez, beloved wife, devoted mother, cherished daughter, sister, and friend, passed away on April 18, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. She leaves behind a legacy of unrelenting strength, contagious laughter, and a love so bold and bright it will continue to shape the lives of all who knew her.
Priscilla was born on January 4, 1982, in San Antonio, where she built a beautiful life rooted in family, adventure, and meaningful connections. She carried herself with strength and grace at all times, sacrificing to ensure the happiness of others.
Priscilla was the heartbeat of her family. She is survived by her loving husband of 19 years, Joseph Marquez, and their four daughters — Auria, Aniya, Alana, and Aveya — who were the greatest joy and purpose of her life. She made them the center of her world, showing up with unwavering strength, humor, and a love that knew no limits.
She is also survived by her mother, Olivia Gonzales; her brother, Michael Cantu; and her sisters, Terrimarie Rejon, Janelli Rodriguez, and Veronica Polley; as well as her niece Raelie Williams and nephews Darian Polly, Mateo Ayala, and Raphael Ayala. She was preceded in death by her father, Reynaldo L. Gonzales.
Priscilla came from humble beginnings but had a tenacious drive. She was a proud graduate of University of Texas at San Antonio, where she earned two bachelor’s degrees. Priscilla built a distinguished career as a Project Manager at USAA. She was respected not only for her accomplishments, but for the warmth, integrity, and humanity she brought to everyone around her.
Priscilla had a presence that was impossible to miss and even harder to forget. She had a natural gift for connection and conversation — the kind that made people feel seen, heard, and valued. She was intelligent, quick-witted, kind, and uniquely stylish in a way that was entirely her own. She loved the beach, embraced new destinations, and moved through life with curiosity, energy, and joy.
Though her time here feels far too short, her love will live on in her daughters, her family, and every life she touched. She is an angel in our hearts now — deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
The family welcomes family and friends at 5:00pm on May 4, 2026, at Porter Loring Mortuary - McCullough (1101 McCullough Avenue, San Antonio, TX 78212).
A memorial service will follow beginning at 6:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, Priscilla preferred donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital and the American Cancer Society.
