

Joe L. Falcon Sr., born July 16, 1924 in San Angelo, TX lived a full and happy life that included an impressive military career completing 33 years of service to our country. He honorably served in WWII while in the Navy and saw battle at Iwo Jima. Mr. Falcon then joined the U.S. Army completing an additional 30 years of service before retiring at Ft Campbell, KY.
Joe Falcon went on to complete another 10 years with the Tom Green County Court House in San Angelo, TX, retiring in 1988. After retiring Mr. Falcon lived in Tennessee but recently relocated to San Antonio, TX with his beloved wife of 62 years, Elida Z. Falcon.
Joe was an inspiration to all who knew him. He always showed tender love, care and devotion for his beautiful wife Elida, especially after she suffered a stroke 7 years ago. He has been a true testimony and example of unconditional and unfailing love. Joe Falcon will truly be missed by the family that loved and cherished him for his love of family, wisdom and for being the mentor and counselor that he was to all. Joe was a wonderful, honorable man and a true gentleman.
Joe is survived by his wife, Elida Zuniga Falcon; Children, Ron Falcon Karen, Margaret Atcheson Gordon, Grace Kuzma Tom, Joe L. Falcon II Jan; Daughter in-Law Cristol Mrs. Steven Robert Falcon; Anna Urias Ernie and Randal Falcon Karen. Grandpa Joe was survived by 17 grand children and 19 great grandchildren. He is also survived by two younger brothers, Gilbert Falcon of Dallas and Johnny Falcon of New Mexico.
