Rachel Ramos Gallegos

Rachel Ramos Gallegos was born May 4, 1945 in San Antonio, Texas. After a short, courageous battle with Leukemia, she was called home on April 9, 2016. Rachel was ready to be held by the loving embrace of the Lord where her husband, son, have gone before her.

Rachel is survived by her mother Juanita C. Ramos, brother Ricardo C. Ramos daughters Georgina Yvonne Gallegos, Christina Gallegos; beloved grandsons Christian Seth Alexander Garza, Santino Ambrose Garza as well as her cousin Susana Rodriguez and other extended family and friends.

The Gallegos family expresses special thanks to Ruby L. Verastigue for contribution of song. Sincere gratitude to Dr. S. Beram for his tireless efforts in prolonging Rachel's time spent with family.

Recitation of the Rosary on Sunday, April 17, 2016 at 7:00 PM at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, 1710 Clower Street.

Mass of the Resurrection will be held on Monday, April 18th at 10:00 AM at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church followed by interment in Mission Burial Park South, 1700 S.E. Military Dr. Pallbearers are her grandsons at heart Miguel Zapata, George Aguirre, Nathaniel Ramos, Amadeo Longoria, and Damien Hernandez.
