Rachel Rosales Herrera, age 84, of San Antonio passed away Friday, August 1, 2014. She was born February 7, 1930, in Rosenberg, Texas. Rachel was a loving and devoted mother of five and grandmother of three and lived selflessly for her entire family.
Rachel was preceded in death by her parents, Reynaldo and Elena Rosales; her son, Mark Stephen Herrera; brothers, Rodolfo Rosales and Ruben Rosales. She is survived by her daughters, Sylvia J. Herrera, Elizabeth Herrera and Debra Samano; son, Nick Brian Herrera; grandchildren, Robert Canedo and wife, Amber, John Thomas Samano and Kelly Rene Samano; sister, Rosie Bejar and husband, Alfred; brother, Ramiro Rosales and wife, Dorothy; numerous nieces and nephews.
In accordance with Rachel's wishes, a private memorial service for family will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent in her name to a charity of your choice.
