

Rachelle A. Mann, a lifelong resident of San Antonio, Texas, passed away on September 22, 2025, at the age of 75. Born on December 28, 1949, in San Antonio, Texas, she shared a birthday with her mother. Rachelle was known for her caring heart, her thoughtful gifts, and her unrelenting dedication to her daughter. Rachelle had a love for plants, crocheting, and making people smile through gifts and attention.
Rachelle was born and raised in San Antonio and was a long-time member of Temple Beth-El since her childhood. Her commitment to her faith and community was evident throughout her life, and especially as a Religious School Teacher for more than 20 years. Rachelle enjoyed sharing her knowledge of Judaism and had a love for Judaica.
Rachelle was preceded in death by her father, Jerome Dawson, her mother, Marion Dawson Shaenfield, and her step-father Sid Shaenfield. Rachelle is survived by her daughter whom she adored, Jennifer Mann, and her loving dog, Coco, her furry companion for more than 10 years. She will be forever remembered by her sister, Debby Frank, and her nephews, Jeremy Frank (Kimberly) and Gabe Frank. She also leaves behind her great-nephews, Noah and Eli Frank, as well as special friends, Bethany, Eileen, Lynda, and Chong, and two children who she thought of like grandchildren, Josie and Angel. Her memory will also be cherished by aunts, cousins, neighbors, and former co-workers.
A graveside service will be held at Congregation Beth-El Memorial Park, located at 1715 Austin Hwy, San Antonio, 78216, on September 25, 2025 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
Rachelle’s legacy of love and dedication will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.
