Rafael S. Ramirez, age 78, passed away on Monday, August 24, 2020 in San Antonio, Texas. Born on January 4, 1942 in Mexico, to parents, Rafael Ramirez Perez and Amparo Silva Alfaro. Mr. Ramirez served in the U. S. Army, reaching the rank of SPF5, followed by working Civil Service at BAMC in the Surgical and Burn Units for 30 pls years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rafael and Amparo Ramirez. Rafael is survived by his wife, Armandina M. Ramirez; his daughter, Marie Thompson and husband Kent; his grandchildren, Alexander Kenneth Thompson, Nicholas Rafael Thompson, and Meghan Armandina Thompson.
