Rafaela Granato Bonanno

She married Frank Bonanno, a native of Italy and resident of New York in May 1939. They had a son Arnaldo Richard Bonanno in May 1940. They resided in New York.

Mrs. Bonanno was preceded in death by her husband; son; parents, Eugene and Rose Granato; brothers, Frank, Blas, Danny and Joe Granato.

She is survived by brothers, Louis Granato and wife, Helen, Sam Granato and wife, Frances; sister, Emily Granato Ward and husband, James W. Ward, Jr.; sisters-in-law, Louise Granato and Lillian Granato; in addition to many nephews; nieces; and cousins.

Mrs. Bonanno spent the past several years as a resident of Mariner Health of San Antonio.

The family would like to express thanks to Mariner, especially the "Rosewood" Wing personnel for their excellent care of Mrs. Bonanno. Many thanks also to the residents, whose friendship she enjoyed.
