Ralph enlisted in basic training in 1956 at Lackland Air Force Base and served his country for 31 ½ years including combat in the Vietnam War. He met his wife of 58 years, Angeles, while on duty at the Zaragoza Air Base in Spain. After his service he worked in the US military defense industry as a private contractor in the Middle East. He retired to San Antonio in 2004 with his loving wife.
Ralph is preceded in death by his wife Maria de los Angeles Foster; his parents; and his siblings Bessie, Luther, Donnie, Jenny, and Robert. He is survived by children, Angel Foster, Lynn Foster, and Ralph Foster II (Kristin Foster); Grandchildren, Ronnie Foster, Michelle Foster, Michael Foster, Christina Quint, Marcus Quint Jr., Kenny Wayne Maggie's Jr., Eliana Foster, and Ralph Foster III.
The family will be receiving guests on Tuesday May 20, 2025, from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Porter Loring Mortuaries North.
