Ramon R. Casias Jr. (Lucky) born on January 15, 1940 in Pleasanton,TX went to be with the Lord on March 5, 2013 at the age of 73. Mr. Casias loved life, always smiled, and loved to dance. He loved to wear his hat and cowboy boots. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ramon B. Sr. and Anita Casias.
He is survived by his true love of 54 years, Consuelo Tejeda Casias; sons; Johnny R. (Anna), Joe R. Sr. (Tina), Joe R. Jr. (Tina),and Jason Casias; daughters, Linda Ogden (Albert), Cindy Navaira-Escobar (Joe), Yvonne Forey (Jerry), and Patsy Rea (John); 20 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; brothers, Henry and Arthur Casias; sisters, Alicia, Gloria, and Diane; also, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many many friends. Ramon was enjoyed by his friends, never met a stranger, and could walk in a room of people and leave knowing their names and stories. He loved to dance…no really, he LOVED to dance! His daughters and granddaughters would all have to take turns having grandpa as their dancing partner. “Lucky” was his nickname and others whom he met. We will always miss you and your love and devotion to this family will be admired and never forgotten.
Visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m. Sunday March 10, 2013 at Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Rd. followed by a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A procession will depart from the funeral home at 11:30 a.m. Monday March 11, 2013 for 12:00 p.m. Mass of the Resurrection at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 236 E. Petaluma St. Interment will follow in First Memorial Park. Services under the direction of Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Rd., San Antonio, TX 78211.
