Ramón Aparicio García. On May 27, 2011, we lovingly kissed our beloved Rock as he fell peacefully asleep and released his brave, gentle soul into the hands of his Savior Jesus Christ. Born in San Antonio to Manuel García and Petra Aparicio, he was a parishioner at St. Luke Catholic Church, Men’s Club, ACTS, Lector, Usher, a Vietnam Veteran and proud U.S. Marine. He had a giant servant’s heart and is survived by his wife Delia, daughter, Terri Jo (Armando) Salinas; granddaughters, Jazmine, Isabella, Angelina Jo and future Grandbaby Salinas; brother, sisters, Daniel Garcia, Connie Tree, Rachel Ulibarri, Lupe Bigrigg; nephews, nieces, other family and friends. Visitation Sunday June 5th, 5-9 PM and Rosary 7 PM at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home on Bandera Road. Funeral procession Monday June 6th at 9:30 AM leaves Sunset Northwest for 10 AM Holy Mass at St. Luke Catholic Church, 4603 Manitou Dr. Interment with military honors at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
