He was born on December 3, 1926 to Ramon and Gala Gomez in Candela, Coahuila, Mexico. Mr. Gomez has made his life in San Antonio for the past 52 years. Through his hard work, he built Gomez Cabinetry which he owned for 25 years before retiring in 2002. He was a long time member of St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church.
Ramon will be greatly missed by all of his family, friends, and colleagues.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Mr. Gomez is survived by his wife Gloria S. Gomez; daughter Veronica Meade and husband Anthony; sons, Hector Gomez and wife Anna, and Hugo Gomez; eleven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; siblings, Oralia Cerda, Guadalupe Gomez and wife Maria Luisa, Socorro Alarcon and husband Raul, and Amelia Perez and husband Pedro.
