

He was an active member of several faith-based communities, including the Guadalupanos, Matachines, Bible study group, and the A.C.T.S. community. As a Eucharistic Minister and participant in the sick and homebound ministry, Ramon brought comfort and compassion to many. His involvement in the Cursillo movement reflected his commitment to spiritual growth and fellowship.
Ramon found great joy in spending time outdoors, caring for animals, and immersing himself in Bible study. Family was at the heart of his life, and he cherished every moment spent with his loved ones. Known for his warm smile and uplifting spirit, he had a remarkable gift for bringing joy to others through laughter and kindness.
He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Alberto and Juana Mares. Ramon is survived by his devoted wife of 60 years, Alejandra Munoz; his children, Miguel Angel Munoz, Juana Munoz, Nelly Maribel Medina, and Pedro Munoz; numerous grandchildren; his siblings Jesus Munoz, Jose Munoz, Alberto Munoz, and Maria Cruz Silva; beloved family members, Antonio, Nelly, Brianna, Alexis, Alyssa, Joe, Mia, Madison, Alec, and Marco.
Ramon’s legacy of faith, love, and generosity will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew him. He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for the joy he brought to so many lives.
May he rest in eternal peace.

A rosary will occur Monday, March 24, 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, TX 78237. A funeral mass will occur Tuesday, March 25, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Dominic Catholic Church, 5919 Ingram Rd, San Antonio, TX 78228. An interment will occur Tuesday, March 25, 2025 from 11:15 AM to 12:15 PM at Resurrection Cemetery at Cordi-Marian, 11624 Culebra Rd, San Antonio, TX 78253.
