Ramona O. Castro

Our beloved Mother, Grandmother, Aunt, and Friend Ramona Orta Castro entered into rest on November 13, 2013 at the age of 99. She was born on June 3, 1914 in Mexico. She is preceded in death by her husband Genaro Castro. She is survived by her children; Frank Castro (Patricia), Isabel Kowalik (Randolph), David Castro (Margaret), Teresa Peche (Lee), and Alice Herrera (Enrique); also, 17 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. Her generosity, kindness and self-sacrificing spirit will always be remembered by all the lives she touched. She loved being surrounded by her family, their children and friends. Our thanks go out to the many who have been there for our family. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Thursday, November 21, 2013 at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Procession will depart from the funeral home on Friday, November 22, 2013 at 11:30 a.m. for a 12:00 p.m. Mass of the Resurrection at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 1114 Willow St. Interment will follow in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery
