Raquel Molina Guzman

Raquel M. Guzman, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 16, 2024, at the age of 90. Born on May 24, 1934, in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico, Raquel spent most of her life in San Antonio, Texas, where she dedicated herself to her family and the business, she and her husband, Evaristo Nicolas Guzman, worked tirelessly to build.

Throughout her life, Raquel was a compassionate nurse in Mexico and a devoted business owner in San Antonio. She wholeheartedly took joy in caring for her children and family. After retiring, Raquel remained active in her community, enjoying time with friends and loved engaging in arts and crafts, knitting, and various other hobbies.

Raquel was a strong, kind, and selfless woman, always there for her family and friends. On October 16, 2024, she gained her wings and reunited with her beloved husband, Evaristo Nicolas Guzman and siblings: Anacleto, Alejandra, Amada, Olga, and Nelly.

She is survived by her brother, Abel Molina, and her six children: Marisela, Manuel, Norma, Jose Luis, Raquel, and Genaro. Raquel was also a loving grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. She was a rare human, a proud fifth generation descendant.

Raquel M. Guzmán, una querida esposa, madre, abuela y amiga, falleció pacíficamente el 16 de octubre de 2024, a la edad de 90 años. Nacida el 24 de mayo de 1934 en Monterrey, Nuevo León, México, Raquel pasó la mayor parte de su vida en San Antonio, Texas, donde se dedicó a su familia y al negocio, ella y su esposo, Evaristo Nicolás Guzmán, trabajaron incansablemente para construir.

A lo largo de su vida, Raquel fue una enfermera compasiva en México y una devota propietaria de un negocio en San Antonio. Ella disfrutaba de todo corazón cuidando a sus hijos y a su familia. Después de jubilarse, Raquel permaneció activa en su comunidad, disfrutando del tiempo con amigos y amando participar en artes y manualidades, tejer y otros pasatiempos.

Raquel era una mujer fuerte, amable y desinteresada, siempre ahí para su familia y amigos. El 16 de octubre de 2024, obtuvo sus alas y se reunió con su amado esposo, Evaristo Nicolas Guzman y sus hermanos: Anacleto, Alejandra, Amada, Olga, and Nelly.

Le sobreviven su hermano, Abel Molina, y sus seis hijos: Marisela, Manuel, Norma, José Luis, Raquel y Genaro. Raquel también fue una amorosa abuela, bisabuela y tatarabuela. Ella era una humana poco común, una orgullosa descendiente de quinta generación.

Extrañaremos profundamente a Raquel, pero permanecerá para siempre en nuestros corazones.
