

Raquel Flores Jimenez entered into eternal peace on June 14, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family and the many cherished memories she created throughout her life. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, Raquel's kindness, generosity, and unwavering love touched all who knew her.
Born to Fernando Flores and Della Flores, Raquel was raised with strong values of faith, family, and compassion that remained the foundation of her life. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents.
Raquel is lovingly survived by her devoted husband, Roger V. Jimenez; her daughters, Amy (Joaquin) Garcia, Adriana (Rickie Jr.) Doda, and Analisa (Lucas) Lumbley; her sisters, Mary Lou (Robert) Cortez and Antoinette (John) Davis; and her brother, Fernando (Terry) Flores.
She was a proud and loving grandmother to Robert Quintero, Alyssa (Allen) Strandtman, Tristan (Madeline) Quintero, Rickie Doda III, and Clark Lumbley, and a cherished great-grandmother to Matthew, Natalia, and Noah Quintero. She also leaves behind many extended family members and dear friends who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.
Raquel attended Providence High School and later furthered her education at the University of the Incarnate Word. She dedicated many years of service to the San Antonio Water System (SAWS), where she worked in the Treasury Department. She was respected by her colleagues and known for her strong work ethic, dedication, and caring spirit.
Outside of work, Raquel found joy in baking, cooking, sewing, reading, traveling, cruising, dancing, and sharing her love of music. She enjoyed playing instruments, singing, creating art with her friends at the senior center, and spending time with those she loved. She had a special appreciation for Korean dramas and Korean music and delighted in sharing her interests with others. Above all, she treasured time spent with her family, creating traditions and memories that will be cherished for generations.
Raquel will be remembered for her loving heart, gentle spirit, creativity, and selfless devotion to others. Her warmth and compassion brought comfort and happiness to countless lives, and her legacy of love and faith will continue to live on through all who were blessed to know her.
Family and friends are invited to come together to celebrate Raquel's life and honor her memory on Monday, June 29, 2026, at St. Brigid Catholic Church Parish Hall, 6907 Kitchener Street, San Antonio, Texas 78240. A Celebration of Life gathering will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., with a Rosary to follow.
Though she has entered into eternal peace, the love she shared and the memories she created will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
