

Mr. Bravo was born on January 26, 1936, in San Antonio, Texas, son of the late Ester and Jacobo Bravo.
Mr. Bravo proudly served in the U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force Reserve. While in the Air Force Reserve, he served numerous active duty tours in Vietnam where he earned numerous awards and acclamations.
He retired from the U.S. Air Force Reserves in January 1996 with over 41 years of total of military service.
Mr. Bravo was also a dedicated and beloved employee of the Baptist Health System as a Surgical Technician for over 54 years and was also active member at St. Henry's Catholic Church where he served in Eucharistic ministries.
He is preceded in death by his son, Wayne Mathis; sisters, Tomasa Bragg, Consuelo Salazar and Frances Quiroz; brothers, George Bravo and Alex Bravo.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Dorothy Bravo; loving daughter and finest son-in-law, Rose Santonastaso and husband, Joe; grandchildren: Victoria Mathis, Angela Mincemoyer (Philip), Elizabeth Mathis, Andrew Santonastaso, Anthony Santonastaso, Alex Santonastaso; numerous nieces, nephews and great grandchildren along with many wonderful friends and neighbors.
He will be greatly missed by all who have had the pleasure of knowing such a sweet, kind and caring man.
Viewing to be held on Sunday, March 25th at 6:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Porter Loring on McCullough.
