Raul was a World War II Veteran and Korean conflict.
He was preceded in death by his parents Antonio and Felicitas De La Garza; sisters, Olga Aguilar and Olivia Summerville; son, Gilbert Charles Vasquez.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Dora Charles De La Garza; brother, Frederico M. De La Garza; children, Mark Anthony De La Garza, Lillie De La Garza, Sandra De La Garza, Evelyn (Joe) Valdez, Roy Anthony (Josie) De La Garza, Max Charles Vasquez, Edward Charles Vasquez (Lydia), Alexander Charles Vasquez; numerous grandchildren, great- grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m., Monday, May 21, 2018, at Porter Loring Mortuary.
