Raul was born on January 15, 1934 in San Antonio, Texas, where he grew up. Raul was a musician and songwriter and began playing his accordion at the age of 14. He was later inducted into the Texas Conjunto Music Hall of Fame.
Raul was many things in life: a loving husband, dedicated father, beloved grandfather, and devoted brother. He will be deeply missed and stay in the memory of those who loved him. He is preceded in death by his father and mother, Tomas and Alberta Moreno. He is survived by his loving spouse Esperanza and three children Sandra, Larry, and Norma, as well as five grandchildren - James, Christopher, Steven, Andrew, and Caroline - and six great-grandchildren - Alexander, Zoey, Amani, Elise, Dean, and Alice.
He may be gone but he will forever be remembered in our hearts.
