Raul Sanchez Noriega

Raul is survived by his wife Lidia M. Noriega; sons Arturo (Rachel) Fernandez, Hector (Janie) Noriega, Ruben (Laura) Noriega; brother Joe Noriega; sister Janie (Reyes) Monreal; grandchildren Brittany (Frank) Herrera, Brandon Noriega, Bryanna Noriega, James Athey, Crystal Fernandez, Elia Fernandez; great-grandchildren Uriah Noriega, Dre Noriega, Delilah Noriega, Jeremy Sanchez; and many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his parents Marina (Sanchez) Noriega and Jesus Noriega; mother-in-law Elia Ibarra; brother Richard Noriega.

Raul was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend to all. He was an avid reader and enjoyed staying up to date on current events especially politics. He enjoyed going to the movies and watching his San Antonio Spurs. But overall he loved spending time with his family.

Funeral Service Information:

Visitation will begin on Thursday, May 26, 2016 at 5:00 p.m at Treviño Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Rd San Antonio, Texas with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home Friday, May 27, 2016 at 10:15 a.m. for an 11:00 a.m. mass of resurrection at Holy Name Catholic Church, 2814 Nash Blvd San Antonio, Texas. Interment to follow at Mission Burial Park South, 1700 SE Military Dr San Antonio, Texas.
