Raul V. Rodriguez, born on April 13, 1934 in New Braunfels, TX was called to be with the Lord on June 7, 2018 at the age of 84 He was a member of St. Leonard’s Catholic Church,Third Degree Knights of Columbus Society,The Guadalupana’s Society and The St.Vincent De Paul Society Food Bank. He was a graduate of Sidney Lanier High School Class of 1953. He is preceded in death by his son, Rob Rodriguez. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Micaela C. Rodriguez whom he married on September 15, 1953 at Saint Alphonsus Catholic Church; surviving children, Irma Alvarez (Andres), Ronald Rodriguez (Sally), Richard Rodriguez (Terry), Michael Rodriguez (Jessica) and Michelle Rodriguez- Howell; grandchildren: Andy Alvarez Jr., David Alvarez, Mark Alvarez, Joshua Rodriguez, Christina Pena, Mason Rodriguez, Madison Rodriguez, Brittany Rodriguez, Kiersten Rodriguez, Callahan Rodriguez, Marianne Rodriguez and Angelica Rodriguez; great grandchildren, Isabella Alvarez, Ethan Pena and Alex Pena; also, 3 sisters, numerous nieces and nephews. The Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino, 2525 Palo Alto Rd. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. The Procession will depart from the funeral home on Friday, June 15, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection at St. Leonard’s Catholic Church, 8510 S. Zarzamora St. Interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery II.
