Raul Alvarado Vera, age 78, of San Antonio, went to be with the Lord on Monday, August 4, 2008.
Mr. Vera was roofer for 42 years and a hard worker.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Rosita Alvarado; father, Vincent Vera; sisters, Anastia Vera, Manuela Silvas, Isabel Valdez; brother, Rosalio Vera.
He is survived by his wife, Paula B. Vera; sons, Jesus Vera, Raul Vera, Jr., and Robert Vera; daughters, Angie Vera and Sylvia Saunders; stepson, Valeriano Reyna; 15 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; sisters, Anita Vera and Alicia Vera; brother, Rodolfo Vera; numerous nieces and nephews.
