I cannot say enough nice things about the 14 years I knew Ray and Rosalie as a neighbor and friend of theirs here in St. Louis County, MO. Ray was a mentor of mine...Rosalie was the true, loving hostess of many a neighborhood event that made our 18 family court such a great place to live.
Ray was truly one of the most knowledgeable, civic minded individuals I ever met. In fact, he convinced me to get involved in our small municipality on the Planning & Zoning Commision for 6 years...something I never thought I would ever do, but something I was very grateful for. Thank you, Ray for so many times you welcomed me over to your house to prognosticate about world issues. Something I would continue to do after he moved to Texas several years ago. He was truly a blessing in my life. I know that Rosalie, and Tom, as well as so many others, will miss him.
May God grant you peace, dear Ray.

Rosalie, Tommy and family-
I have fond memories of visiting your home as a child. I recall the amazing organ you had in your house, huge breakfasts, lots of storytelling, laughter and how welcoming you were to my family despite us not really being related.
It is with a heavy heart I have learned of Ray's passing. Blessings for peace, love and joy from your memories of those wonderful times!

Ray and Rosalie were always so kind to Tina and I. We were able to be at many occasions at their home on Cleveland in Granite City. We celebrated Thanksgivings, Christenings, Birthdays and other family events at their home, where they hosted with a welcoming , warm and "open arms" greeting.
I was in their wedding over 60 years ago. Ray and I had a great interest in Model Railroads. He gave me my first Lionel train, a 1950 model of a Union Pacific diesel locomotive and several cars as well.
We will miss him. He was a Great cousin!!

Ray was a good friend to my Dad, Dick Kleffman, for so many years. They went all the way back to the old Granite City days. Ray and Rosalie were such good friends to my Mom and Dad for so long and as a family, we always enjoyed our visits with Ray and Rosalie. Here is a picture of the four of them in Hawaii.

It has been an honor to know Rosalie and Ray since they moved to San Antonio. Ray
has been so helpful to several of my friends with his mechanical and technical skills. Always a gentleman and totally devoted to Rosalie, he will be missed.
