Raymond Cantu

Raymond Cantu, age 53, passed away on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 in San Antonio. He was born to Grable and Robert Cantu on March 13, 1970 in San Antonio. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Grable Cantu; stepson, Jacob; and granddaughter, Cleopetra. Raymond is survived by his loving wife Sonia; daughters: Marissa, Danell and Denise Cantu; stepchildren: Tricia Rae, Yvonne and Benjamin James; brothers: Joe, Antonio and Robert Jr.; sisters: Aurora, Virginia, Angela and Laura; 13 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and dear friends.

Raymond was an active fisherman and loved going to the coast to fish as often as he could. He was an amazing cook, and his specialty was making BBQ for the family. He was a lifelong fan of the Dallas Cowboys. Raymond made friends with everyone he spoke with and left them feeling like they had known him forever. He was so funny, but most of all, he loved spending time with his family and friends, and he loved them unconditionally. Raymond will be greatly missed.

Family will receive guests before the Rosary begins from 5:00-7:00pm.
