Raymond G. Gonzales

Raymond worked till the age of retirement and a few years beyond until the age of 70. He worked at the same company for over 40 years as a truck driver.

His interests included watching sports and old television shows. He loved nature and would often enjoy gardening in his yard. Raymond also had a great knowledge of mechanical work and would work on his cars. He liked to draw and color for relaxation, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with family.

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 59 years, Emma Gonzales; son. Ernest Gonzales; parents; three brothers; and one sister

He is survived by a brother, Guadalupe Gonzales; sisters, Maria, Julia, Mary Alice, Veronica, Susan, and Margie; children, Sandra, Nancy, Raymond, Rudy, Virginia, Ruben, Mark, Michael, and Jennifer. 27 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, a great-great-granddaughter and numerous nieces, nephews and great friends.

A visitation for Raymond will be held on Monday, February 26, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home. The Holy Rosary will begin at 7:00 PM. A chapel service will occur on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at 10:00 AM with the interment to follow at San Fernando Cemetery III.
