Raymond Perez, Jr.

Our beloved father, husband, grandfather and friend, Raymond Perez, Jr., age76, passed away on Friday, January 6, 2017 with his family at his side. He was born in San Antonio on October 6, 1940 to Ramon and Blanca Cantu Perez.

Raymond served his country in the United States Air Force and then had a career in Civil Service at Kelly Air Force Base, where he retired after 29 years of service. He enjoyed trips to Las Vegas and was an avid Dallas Cowboys and San Antonio Spurs fan. Throughout his life, Raymond placed family first, with honesty and integrity, he instilled values in his children in every aspect of life.

Raymond is preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Roger Perez and Robert "Bobby" Perez.

He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Lucy Perez, their children: Raymond Perez III (Erlinda), Roland Perez (Linda) and Patricia Wolf (Douglas); grandchildren: Raymond Perez IV, Melissa Perez, Stephanie Perez, Joseph Ray Perez and Marissa Perez; and one cherished, great-grandson, Matthew Ray Perez.
