Rebecca "Becky" Alvarado, a beacon of love and kindness, passed away on June 22, 2025, at the age of 53. Born on February 23, 1972, in San Antonio, Texas, to Mary Angie Manjarrez and Jose Luis Manjarrez, Becky's warmth and generosity touched the lives of everyone she met.
Becky's life was a testament to the power of love and the strength of family bonds. Her unwavering love for her husband, Raymond Christopher Gonzales, was evident in the beautiful life they built together. A true partner in every sense, Becky and Raymond's relationship was a source of inspiration to those around them.
She was cherished by her parents, Mary and Jose, who instilled in her the values of compassion and caring that defined her life. Becky's sisters, Pauline and Priscilla Manjarrez, shared not only a lifelong bond with her but also countless memories that will continue to bring joy and laughter in times of sorrow. Her brother-in-law, Pete Vela, along with her nieces Serina Sanchez, Amber Santos, Madeline Cruz, Naya Manjarrez, and Melanie Aleman, and nephew PJ Vela, will remember her as the heart of family gatherings, always bringing joy and comfort to those she loved.
In addition to her immediate family, Becky's extensive family of 16 additional nieces and nephews, many aunts and uncles, and cousins, will carry forward her legacy of kindness. Each of them had a special place in her heart, and she made it her life's work to ensure they knew how much they were loved.
Becky's generosity extended beyond the confines of her family. She was a friend to many, always ready to lend a helping hand or a listening ear. Her presence was a gift, and her absence will be deeply felt by the many lives she touched.
As we say goodbye to Becky, we celebrate the incredible person she was. Her laughter, her selflessness, and her unwavering commitment to her loved ones are the memories that we will hold closest. Becky's spirit will continue to guide us, reminding us to live each day with love and kindness.
Becky is preceded in death by Jose. L Manjarrez Jr (brother), Paola Rodriguez (grandmother), Cayetano Flores (grandfather), and Francisca Flores (grandmother).
Though she has left this world, Becky's legacy will live on through the countless lives she enriched. Her memory will be cherished, and her love will continue to be a guiding light for all who were fortunate enough to have known her.
We take comfort in knowing that Becky's journey was filled with love, laughter, and the joy of being surrounded by a family that adored her. She will be remembered not just for the life she lived but for the love she gave so freely. Becky's story is one of a life well-lived and a woman well-loved.

The family will receive guests from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at Porter Loring Mortuary. A rosary will follow at 7:00 p.m.
