For many years she was a councelor working for Civil Service. She was preceded in death by her husband, William R. Knight; son, Timothy L. Knight; sister, Mary Vick; and her brother, Weber Worthy. Surviving are her son, Clayton Knight and wife, Linda; daughter, Robin Platares; granddaughters, Rachel Russell, Lisa Salinas; great-granddaughters, Lauren Salinas, Eliza Garza; and her sisters, Helen Ditter and Alice Fogle.
Funeral services will be held at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, March 20, 2015 in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at 9:30 a.m.
