Becky was born February 7, 1969 in San Antonio, Texas to loving parents Carmen and Anthony Mazzucca. She graduated from Jefferson High School in 1987 and went on to receive her Bachelor’s degree in Education from Our Lady of the Lake University, becoming a gifted teacher. Becky married Alexander in 1999 in one of her favorite places, Cancun, Mexico. She then went on to work at Girls and Boys Town, Father Flanagan’ Official Home with at-risk kids for years and later went into Real Estate remodeling houses throughout San Antonio. Soon after, in 2012, she became an imaginative business owner and created Viva H20 with her husband and brother; along with being an expressive artist, traveler, and writer. She approached every chapter in her life with passion and purpose.
Becky lived a life defined by creativity, compassion, and a deep reverence for the world around her. Her work, whether created with her hands, her heart, or her words, reflected a spirit that understood the beauty in all things. Becky’s soul was gentle and spiritual, touched by an inner light that radiated outward. She carried a rare ability to wonder in the smallest details; the rhythm of the ocean waves, the delicate movement of a create, colors of the sunset, or the stories held by the places she traveled.
Her energy, pure, bright, and generous, left an unforgettable impression on those fortunate enough to cross her path. She inspired others simply by being herself and celebrating the world with open eyes and an open heart.
Becky continues to live on in the natural beauty she afford. She is felt in the warmth of the sun, in the flowers that return each season, in the rivers as they wind their way toward the sea. Her presence endures in every act of creativity and every spark of joy she inspired.
Rebecca is survived by her husband Alex Garcia, her brother Mark Mazzucca, and her mother Carmen Mazzucca.
